Ebony Canion embodies the idea of never giving up, even having gone through the hardest of struggles. As a survivor of many attacks, she gives us inspiration and a sense of gratitude for life. We were fortunate enough to speak with her and hear her story.
What kind of clothing do you print with us?
Ebony: “I print inspirational t-shirts and t-shirts that are for survivors of all types.”
How did you come across us and choose us for your custom clothing needs?
“I originally went with another company for a couple months. But once I wasn’t satisfied with their prices and delivery time, I Googled again and found your company, and I haven’t switched since! My experience has been absolutely great! I cannot complain. The prices are great and the delivery time, and of course I would recommend this company to my peers, I actually have already!”
We saw your site about your survival story. Could you tell us more about your experiences and your mission and why you create shirts for your cause?
Ebony: “I’ve been through quite a bit in my life, and I’ve survived many different attacks on my life. I was molested at a young age, I’ve been a victim of rape and domestic violence. But most recently I was run over by a female who hit me on purpose, and I was left on the side of the road to die as if I were road kill. I wasn’t expected to live, and I was in a coma for almost 2 months and in the hospital for 4.
I may be scarred from head to toe, and fighting to walk again, but I am alive and here to inspire and give others hope. Which is why I decided to make t-shirts to give a voice to fellow survivors and people who believe in the one who saved me…God.
My t-shirts are meant to put positivity into this world, also to give survivors and people with scars a voice.”
We are sorry that these things happened to you, but we are glad you are alive and think it’s amazing that you’re inspiring others and spreading hope.
What advice do you have for your peers?
Ebony: ”My advice would be to never give up no matter what life throws at you. Because it’s not really about what life throws, it’s about how you swing back. Also I would say to embrace and love what you can’t change about yourself. True beauty is not defined by what others see and think of you, it’s what you think of yourself and how much you have to give on the inside. Love your flaws because God surely does.”
