Showing Off your Hometown Pride
If there is one thing we know, it's college trends. Everyone tries frisbee in the quad, sneaking sub-par dining hall food back to their dorms in tupperware, and going to a party at least once (the sticky floor usually scares the freshmen away). These are novel yet fleeting college experiences. Most people don't end up joining the ultimate frisbee team. Most people decide that the horrific standards of the dining hall pizza are not worth the stress of trying to sneak it away for later. However, one of the most pervasive and lasting trends of American
college youths is hometown pride.
Everybody's Doing It...
There are two kinds of incoming freshmen: the kind that hated their hometown and are relieved to have gotten away, and the kind that love their hometown and talk about how awesome it is
all the time (I'm looking at you, Santa Barbarians). The former people will end up loving their hometown as a unique defining feature of their personality, and an excuse to excitedly hug a stranger they discover is from the same town; the latter students will end up loving and talking about their hometown
even more .
How to Do It
This is why every college student needs a
custom shirt repping their hometown! First, it is a great tool for meeting other people who are from your town. How else would you find another person from Duluth, Minnesota? And second, it is a source of great pride. Large California universities are saturated with students from Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco. Rocking a "San Dimas High School Football Rules" or "Welcome to Sunny Rancho Cucamonga" custom shirt lets everyone know that you are an individual and you have a story. Have a look at our
